Markham Village Festival

17.Jun.2011 This was the 33-rd edition of the Markham festival. Although a part of Toronto now, Markham has preserved the small-village atmosphere, which makes its festival a true family affair. We performed not only on stage, but also all the way to it, and then back. At least 2000 people saw our costumes and dances, and heard the Bulgarian gaida (bagpipes) and tapan (drum).
